Individualized Jail Consultation
This service is designed for correctional institutions.
As part of the due diligence process and its defense, the institution might consider employing the services of an expert to look at aspects specific to that particular institution and make recommendations towards changes to better protect against litigation.
Included in the consultation:
- analysis of strengths and weaknesses of the existing suicide prevention program
- evaluation of the adequacy of the suicide prevention policies and procedures
- analysis of the adequacy of the suicide screening questionnaire and its implementation
- evaluation of the adequacy of suicide watch monitoring and logs
- evaluation of the timeliness of implementation of the substance withdrawal protocol
- review of the adequacy of the mental health documentation from a legal defense perspective
- evaluation of the prevailing attitude toward suicide prevention
- recommendations for corrective action
As part of the consultation, an extensive report detailing areas of improvement will be prepared for the Sheriff, Warden or the Chief Administrator.
Each consultation will also include one annual institutional membership to services offered by Daniel Forensic Psychiatric Services which comes with:

- an additional, one per institution per year, 30-minute professional consultation with dr. Daniel

Personalized Suicide Prevention Training
Daniel Forensic Psychiatric Services, the office of dr. Daniel, can provide suicide prevention training sessions, either virtually through the internet, or in person “on-site”.
